I get a lot of questions from people as to why my comic work looks different than my illustration work.

While it's true RE: Play is done in a slightly different style than my illustrations my personal/non-RE: Play comic work isn't and tends to look like everything else I draw for the most part.

For my natural work I tend to use a lot of heavy inking/spot blacks and very few tones, TokyoPop didn't want that, and thus the light inking/heavy toned, more simplistic style I use for RE was required.

Anyway since I know a lot of people haven't seen my non-TP work I thought I'd post up a couple pages from a short story I did for an anthology this past spring. Sorry they're not the most exciting pages, but they're what I had on hand lol.

I'll try to post up some more pages in the future, maybe something with some good old fashioned violence and gore XD
