I'm so old I can't even remember who it was for D: Ha ha ha I think it was for someone I know too OTL;;; Anyway. I hadn't read the comic when I drew these guys so I had no idea who they were and just worked from reference pictures lol. I've read the comic since but I still wouldn't really consider myself a fan. The violence is nicely drawn tho, especially for a shounen comic. Technicalities aside, the main story boils down to a young boy using the power of friendship to overcome hardships and adversities who wishes to protect his childhood best friend. Heck, there's even a level up montage where he trains his powers to get stronger.
Put the violence aside and it follows the basics of a typical shounen adventure series.
